Asus VivoTab Note 8 Windows Tablet will Boast a Wacom Stylus, Low Price
Asus has unveiled an inexpensive Windows 8.1 tablet, the VivoTab Note 8 with a Wacom digitizer stylus, which it claims will be the "best pen-based tablet for productivity or creativity."

The device will sport a 1280 x 800 IPS display. The professional digitizer pen is going to sit in a holder on the bottom edge of the tablet, which has ultra-slim bezels. According to Asus, the touchscreeen hwill 1,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, which will provide a "natural writing or drawing experience."
The VivoTab Note 8 is going to be powered by an Intel "Bay Trail" Atom Z3740 processor with 2GB of RAM and up to 64GB solid-state storage -- plus the ability to expand another 64GB via microSD memory cards.
It will come equipped with rear-facing SonicMaster stereo speakers, and will include a 5MP rear camera and HD front-facing camera. The battery life is estimated to be eight hours.
The tablet has been designed with professionals and students in mind, and will be bundled with Microsoft Home and Student, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The Cheap Tablet PC will also come with year of free unlimited Asus WebStorage.
Asus says the VivoTab Note 8 will be released in early spring, with a 32GB model selling for $300 and a 64GB one going for $350.
